Motopeins: from two full reseller accounts to everything in one place

Motopeins from Friesland provides computer services and web design, and manages around 45 websites for its clients. Those websites were hosted at a large Dutch hosting provider, spread across two reseller accounts.

Each account had fixed limits for disk space, accounts and bandwidth, and they kept running into them. An account was often full on one point while there was still room on others. A few clients with a lot of email filled up the disk space, for example, so the whole account was full and there was no room left to grow. The provider's solution was a second account, which soon ran into the same limits.

Motopeins already knew one of our founders, and that is how they came to us.

Our Flex reseller hosting platform works differently. There are no fixed plans with hard limits: all clients fit into one account, and Motopeins pays for what they actually use. That was the main reason for them to switch. Through the reseller account they also handle their clients' email.

From October 2025, Motopeins moved their websites step by step, mostly by themselves and with a lot of advice from us, free of charge. Because their previous provider was running an outdated version of DirectAdmin, some imports got stuck. We solved those problems together, without downtime.

They now register all their domain names directly with us, and use our nameservers. When they transferred almost all of their .nl domain names, we waived the administration fees.

All of Motopeins' websites are now in one account, and they no longer have to look up which plan a client is on. The websites are up to 3 times faster, at similar costs.

Security has improved too. Imunify360 on our platform detected and blocked multiple attacks on their websites.

For questions, Motopeins can simply send us a WhatsApp message. The answer often comes within the same minute, which saves them a lot of time. What they value most is the direct contact and the flexibility of our services.
